England Day 11

Today we went to Church with the H's at hope city church in Leeds. It was extremely energetic. I had always thought the English were reserved, but they definitely shattered my preconceptions. The Church was sort of a cross pollination of willow creek and vineyard. They had a modern energetic worship time, followed by video announcements, and then a message about Hanna and her prayer to have Samuel. After the service we met some friendly Britts and chatted for a bit.

We got back to Sheffield around 3ish, had lunch and then said our goodbyes. We drove to Hethrow airport and dropped off our rental car. Although our flight home was not until the next day we had hoped to find an earl yer flight so we could sleep on the plane or perhaps spend some extra time in Chicago before flying back to school. However it was not to be. There were no flights until ours. We failed to relish the thought of spending the night in the airport, so we called up the K's again. They were quite congenial and welcomed us back. We took the Tube out to their place and had a light dinner at subway on the way. When we arrived we had a warm welcome and sat around chatting about our adventures over tea.
