First post

This is my third or fourth attempt at a blog, so don't expect too much. In most cases I tend to be a rather private person so the Idea of posting my thoughts for the world to see does not greatly appeal to me. However since I will be graduating soon and leaving many friends behind, now seems like a good time to start such an endeavor, in order to keep in touch and help keep friendships alive over great distances. So here I raise my cup in a toast to those bloggers that have encouraged me to start and I hope to do better this time.
